Founded in 1977, OKA is a training and consulting small business specializing in leadership and team development. Expert in a variety of psychological instruments and group processes, OKA offers high-impact leadership and team development programs and a variety of instrument qualification workshops.
Public Workshops and Certification Training
Widely known as a leader in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®) assessment training, OKA also provides training on the Strength Deployment Inventory® (SDI®), Emotional Intelligence, Generations, Reversal Theory, the Pearson Marr Archetype Indicator (PMAI), the Klein Group Instrument (KGI) and a variety of other instruments and training approaches. We offer certification and advanced MBTI application classes several times each year.
Client-Site Workshops and Training
Blending both training and consulting principles, OKA provides a range of workshops customized to fit our client’s specific needs in the areas of leadership, teamwork, communication, conflict management, and interpersonal dynamics. Interactive and experiential, our workshops connect new skills and tools to the real challenges facing organizations, applying theories to daily life and work.
Consulting Services
For needs that extend past a single training event, OKA’s consulting services focus on action-based recommendations and solutions, drawing from a rich base of organization development resources. Recent projects have included workgroup facilitation, client-specific curriculum development and training design; organization assessments; and strategic planning.
Training Support Products
OKA leaders have authored and produced a full line of type-related training support materials for consultants, trainers and individuals. These include the best-selling Type Talk At Work, co-written by Otto Kroeger and Hile Rutledge; Introduction to Type and Temperament Workbook and Slides, by Hile Rutledge; Generations and Type Workbook and Slides, by Rita Murray and Hile Rutledge; and Introduction to Type and Project Management, by Jennifer Tucker. OKA also has a series of videos and downloadable products designed to support trainers and consultants in their design and delivery of top shelf training events. We have also authored training support products for Reveral Theory, a tool that takes a unique perspective on motivation and emotion.
